This very special, secluded temple is small and simple. A large Art Deco stained glass window of Madonna and Child is its main dÈcor. This window was created in 1927. It was originally made for the private chapel of Ramon Novarro who was a late movie star in silent movies. This temple, 12ft x 12ft, is just large enough for a private, very spiritual wedding ceremony for any nomination or gender.
This lead stained glass window of Madonna and child originated from the second story private chapel of the early hollywood matinee idol, Roman Navarro. His georgian colonial home was situated on the corner at Gramercy and 21nd place in Los Angeles. This window was designed by Marion Brown in 1926, and constructed by the Los Angeles Glass Company for installation in the then new home being built for Ramon Navarro. Below on the first floor was the actor's private theatre, Teatro Navarro.
